HANDY MAN
There are many projects that don’t fit into particular categories. I’ve done so many different things for people over the years to meet a particular need: Shelving in unusual spaces; Building a six foot tall spice rack; patching up a vent hole in a stained wood ceiling so that it’s almost invisible; fixing a beloved chair with a broken leg; removing an old entertainment center from when TV’s were small and repairing the wood floor underneath it; enlarging a laundry area because the customer had to replace their washer and dryer and the new ones were much bigger; building a clothes closet into a room and many more.
REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
There are areas around homes that can get neglected and get dry rot around windows and doors where replacement can be very expensive. I have a lot of experience making repairs to these areas, saving the cost of replacing wood windows and doors. I can also make repairs to small areas inside and outside of the home where it is impractical to replace everything. Things from fixing dryer venting to leaking sink drains to doors that don’t close or don’t latch to deck repair to fixing outlets and switches. I’ve seen it all and more importantly, I know the best way to fix these things.
BATHROOM REMODEL
I’ve done many bathroom remodels, most which were partial remodels. This is perfect for people who want their bathroom updated, but don’t want to replace everything. The big benefit comes from my skill in several areas. I can move electrical around, put in things like lighted mirrors or other high-end fixtures, replace lights, move them, replace bath fans, fix the sheetrock after I’m done and paint it all. I can install recessed medicine cabinets and In most cases I can fix stuff that was never quite right before. I can install new flooring and seal it so that there will never be water damage from water on the floor.
TILING AND FLOORING
I do excellent tile work and have experience with many different types of flooring, including tile, laminate flooring, hardwood, engineered wood and vinyl planks. I’ve also worked with vinyl sheet flooring, which is now obsolete. This includes repairing water damage and in water prone areas and making those areas watertight when new work is done.

I cannot make separate visits to evaluate jobs. I operate more like companies that do repairs and service. I schedule you in and then come out and do the work.
When you call or email me, I will listen carefully to your description of the project and ask questions. This tells me if I’m the right person and also what tools to bring.
If it is within my scope I will make an appointment to do the work. Almost all of the time I can simply begin work after a short conversation about the details. If work cannot begin immediately for any reason, I will not charge for the visit.
If the project is not within my scope I will direct you to the correct company if possible.
